Intermediate/Advanced Poi Workshop, Thursdays June 25 - July 16

[Fire Mecca]

This will be a 4 week class exploring intermediate and advanced poi technique. This is class is open to anyone, but the most enjoyment will be had by those who have at least a solid grasp of basic poi skills (see below for a list of suggested prerequisites). Some of the techniques covered will include:

• Buzzsaw flowers
• Lockouts
• Inswings
• Waist-wraps
• Spinning betwixt the legs
• Pendulums
• Class-member Suggestions

Students should already know:

• Buzzsaw
• Forward and Reverse 3-beat Weave
• Low Wave
• Behind-the-Back Revers 3-beat Weave (may be taught, depending on student skill level)

Instructor:	Matthew Johnson of Fire Mecca
Duration:	4 week class, Thursdays June 25th through July 16th from 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Cost:	The full 4-week class is 40 dollars, or 15 dollars per class drop-in. Credit Card, PayPal, and cash are accepted as pre-payment, or cash at first class. Pay now to guarantee a seat!

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement but is not baggy such that it will not restrict the movement of the poi around your body. If you do not have poi, they can be purchased at www.firemecca.com.
